What is Summerfest?

A fun-filled afternoon that makes summer camp possible for more kids!

Summerfest is SON-Life Camp & Retreat Center’s annual fundraising event, bringing families, friends, and our community together for an afternoon of camp activities, a delicious dinner, and live and silent auctions. Every donation and auction purchase helps support our summer camp ministry and keeps camp affordable for families.

Whether you’ve been coming to Summerfest for years or you’re visiting SON-Life for the first time, we’d love to have you join us!

Here's What to Expect

3:30–5:00 PM | Waterfront Fun

Cool off at the waterfront with swimming, boating, blobbing, and water games! It’s a great opportunity for the whole family to enjoy camp.

4:15-6:15 PM | Silent Auction Open

Browse a variety of great items and place your bids in our silent auction! This closes promptly at 6:15 PM to give our staff time to organize the winning items. You can pick up your prizes after the live auction concludes!

4:30–6:00 PM | Dinner at the Dining Hall

Enjoy a delicious dinner of roast turkey and/or pork, served with a variety of sides and dessert. Dinner is donation-based, with contributions helping support SON-Life’s summer camp ministry.

6:00 PM | Live Auction Begins
Join us under the big tents for our live auction, featuring a variety of great items.

Fun for the Kids, Too!

Our summer staff will be on hand to lead games and keep kids entertained while the auction is underway.

Come enjoy a day at camp, connect with our community, and help make summer camp possible for more kids!

Make an Impact

By attending and/or donating to SON-Life Camp’s Summerfest, you’re making a direct impact on the lives of kids. We believe that every kid should experience the joy of camp. Your support helps provide scholarships and resources that make it possible for them to attend, build lasting friendships, and grow in their relationship with Christ. Every item purchased and every donation given ensures that more children can hear the Gospel, experience God’s love, and create unforgettable memories in a faith-filled environment.

Join us in making a difference—because every child deserves the chance to have their life changed through Christ!
