MAY 11-15, 2026 | SON-Life Camp & Retreat Center

Help us get camp ready for summer—and be part of something meaningful.

What Is Spring Work Week?

Spring Work Week is one of the most important weeks of the year at SON-Life Camp. It’s when volunteers come together to prepare the property for a full summer of ministry.

Whether you join us for the whole week or just a few hours, your time directly helps create a place where campers can grow, connect, and encounter Christ.

  • Come when you can—stay as long as you’d like.

    Join us for:

    • The full week (May 11-15, 2026)

    • A few days

    • Just a morning or afternoon

We will meet for breakfast in the dining hall at 9 am on Monday, May 11 and break off for project time from there!

  • There’s something for everyone—no special skills required!

    Projects include things like:

    • Cleaning cabins, bathrooms, and common areas

    • Yard work, mowing, and trail cleanup

    • Setting up waterfront equipment (docks, boats, lifejackets)

    • Basic repairs and maintenance

    • Organizing camp spaces

Whether you like working with your hands, cleaning, organizing, or being outdoors—we have a place for you.

  • We’ve got you covered!

    • Stay for free in our campground for the week

      • Stay in your camper or tent

      • Or commute from home if you prefer

    • All meals are provided

      • Breakfast is at 8 am (with the exception of Mondays breakfast at 9 am)

      • Lunch is at 12 pm

      • Dinner is at 6 pm

This is our way of saying thank you for serving.

Why It Matters

Every cleaned cabin, repaired dock, and mowed trail plays a role in what happens here during the summer.

Your work helps:

  • Create a safe, welcoming environment for campers

  • Prepare spaces where lives can be changed

  • Support the mission of leading campers to Christ

This week truly sets the foundation for everything that follows.
